get to know Logan Williamson.
Hi, I’m Logan. Really glad you’re here.
I’m a Texas-based therapist who helps adults feel more understood, grounded, and confident in their day-to-day lives. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just ready for something to feel different, you’re in the right place.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and focused on real conversations. No clinical jargon. No pressure to show up a certain way. Just a space where you can breathe, think out loud, and feel supported.
A lot of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, burnout, depression, life transitions, trauma, or the unique challenges that come with ADHD or Autism as an adult. Whatever brings you in, my goal is to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and move forward in a way that feels right for you.

How I Approach Therapy
I believe therapy works best when it feels natural and human. You bring your experiences, your goals, and your pace — and I meet you there with curiosity, compassion, and practical tools.
Clients often tell me they appreciate how calm, easygoing, and approachable our sessions feel. I’m not here to give you a list of things you “should” be doing. I’m here to help you figure out what actually fits your life and your strengths.
I work often with adults who identify as neurodivergent, including professionals with Autism or ADHD. Even if that’s not the reason you’re reaching out, I aim to create a space where your unique wiring, energy levels, communication style, and experiences are respected and understood.
Who I Work With
I work with adults across Dallas, Highland Park, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and anywhere in Texas through secure online therapy.
My specialties include:
- Support for adults with Autism
- Support for adults with ADHD
- Anxiety and stress
- Depression
- Burnout and life transitions
- Trauma and healing
- Communication and relationship patterns
No matter what’s going on, therapy is a place where you don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need a starting point.
Why I Started Lone Star Telehealth
I created Lone Star Telehealth to make therapy feel more accessible, flexible, and comfortable for Texans. Telehealth lets you show up from wherever you feel most at ease — at home, on a walk, during your lunch break — without losing the connection that makes therapy meaningful.
This practice is built on authenticity and trust. You don’t need to prepare the perfect version of yourself when you arrive. Just come as you are.
What Working Together Looks Like
Here’s what you can expect when we meet:
- A relaxed, welcoming space
- A therapist who listens without judgment
- Conversations that feel natural, not clinical
- Tools and strategies that fit your life
- Flexibility and support when things feel overwhelming
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about understanding yourself, building skills that support your everyday life, and feeling more grounded in who you already are.

dedicated counselor
My name is Logan Williamson and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Texas helping my clients address a variety of concerns about their thought processes and their success. Since 2006, I have developed several specialties including ADHD/ADD, Integrated Care, Depression, Anxiety, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (Aspergers).
educated & experienced
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Rhodes College, a Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology from University of North Texas, and an additional 2 years of graduate work at the University of Denver in Clinical Psychology.
While in Denver, I was a therapist at Knippenberg, Patterson, Langley & Associates – a leader in the treatment of ADHD & Autism Spectrum Disorders. I consulted at Denver Academy, a nationally renowned K-12 school for children with different learning and behavioral disorders, running groups, providing support and education to their staff, and lecturing to parents and the community.
In 2012 I moved to New Orleans. I worked at Loyola University’s UCC, providing therapy and coordinating successful programs vital to the health and wellness of the student body. I also worked for several years at Daughter’s of Charity. There I provided integrated Behavioral Health services, which focused on short term interventions, medication management for psychotropic medications, and adherence goals for treatment of chronic illnesses.
and . . .
My career continued as I served as the executive director of the Chartwell Center, a non-profit providing clinical, educational, and vocational services to those on the autism spectrum. There I was able to combine my varied clinical experience and strategic vision to continue my service to the New Orleans community.
Throughout my professional development, I have maintained a private practice and starting in 2019, during the pandemic, I moved to a exclusively telehealth presence. In 2022, my journey landed my family in Texas and I’m happy to be back home serving my community.
on a personal note.
I served for six years on the Board of Directors of Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority – one term as Vice-Chair and two consecutive terms as Board Chair. There I represented the community and advocated for effective integrated behavioral, mental, and physical healthcare for the residents of Jefferson Parish – many of whom were under-served or indigent.
Personally, I am married to a proud New Orleanian and am a father to two amazing children who braved the move to Dallas after ten years in The Big Easy. I am a musician when I have time, went down the rabbit hole of auto detailing during the pandemic, and can hold my own at Mario Kart during game night.
I try to keep up date on the latest and greatest in technology, and this website is a good example of my passion. I built this site from the ground up and it’s in its seventh (eighth?) iteration and seems to constantly evolve.
